The Platform Rules

Updated 6/19/2018

General Guidelines for Using this Site (aka the “Platform Rules”)

This is probably common sense stuff, but our attorneys told us we had to post these rules and guidelines for how people should conduct themselves when using this site.
Recruiters, Company Managers, and Administrators: People using this site to gain feedback from job seekers/candidates they have served.

You may:

  • Use this site to gather feedback from candidates you’ve served.
  • Use the feedback you receive to become a great recruiter.
  • Submit a picture of yourself on your profile.
  • Share tips and best practices with your team.
  • Use good grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It’s hard to take you seriously if you don’t know when to use a period.
  • Thank Job Seekers/Candidates for providing you feedback—regardless if it is positive or negative.
  • Follow up with Job Seekers/Candidates who indicate that they want to be followed up with.
  • Keep things professional.

You may not:

  • Solicit reviews from people who were not your candidates (aka: your mom, brother, best friend, coworker sitting next to you).
  • Solicit reviews using bribes, kickbacks, or any other nefarious incentive.
  • Have more than one account.
  • Impersonate someone.
  • Provide false information on your profile.
  • Use false email addresses.
  • Create accounts using false pretenses.
  • Submit a picture of yourself naked with your cat (or similar disturbing images).
  • Cry if you receive negative feedback. Let it be motivation for growth!
  • Respond to less-than-stellar feedback by challenging the reviewer to a duel.
  • Do anything else on the site that seems wrong or illegal.
  • If we think your judgment is poor or violates our Platform Rules, we reserve the right to exercise our unfettered discretion in accordance with the Terms of Use and remove the listing or review.

Job Seekers/Candidates: People who have worked with recruiters and are providing reviews on the recruiters who have served them.

You may:

  • Provide reviews for recruiters who have served you.
  • Remember that you’re rating a human being, not a product. Be constructive, but honest.
  • Recognize the fine line between respectful feedback and “keeping it real.”
  • Pay attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation if you want to be taken seriously.
  • Keep things professional.

You may not:

  • Post anything derogatory or that personally attacks someone.
  • Disrespect the Recruiters, their families, and/or their pets.
  • Post a review on behalf of your buddy or cousin because you think they were “done wrong” by a recruiter.
  • Use profanity or other offensive language in your reviews.
  • Submit a review with the willful intent to harm someone or defame them.\

Violation of the Platform Rules or their spirit will result in the removal of any offensive language or images, the offending review, and/or suspension of the offender’s account. This should not be a problem if everyone tries to be constructive, professional, and respectful. Anonymity should not be the incubator of boorishness, nor a proving ground for the death of civility.
